Today the toddlers spent a little extra time outside talking about class pets and getting their hands wet.
Rainy days can't stop us from moving and grooving! When the weather keeps us inside, we bring the fun indoors with gross motor activities to get bodies moving. The kids hopped, and crawled their way through the day. Gross motor play helps children build balance, coordination, and confidence all while burning off energy in the most joyful way!
This week preschoolers went on a sweet and crunchy adventure! This hands-on experience wasn't just fun, it was full of learning too. After choosing their apples, they returned to their classrooms and discussed the life cycle of apple trees, learned the different parts of apples, and even got to keep a few seeds. After, our teachers sliced up all the apples and our preschoolers were able to enjoy crisp slices with Sunbutter for their afternoon snack. Yummy!
Our kids had so much fun with their water bottle school bus craft! Back to school fun is in full swing here at AoHTG!
