We are having a great time celebrating America this week! Our classes are learning all what Independence Day is all about aside from the barbeques & pool parties. The children created these beautiful flags to display in their class showing their gratefulness for our freedom!
This week for Kindergarten Boot Camp, Ms. Alyson had her students choose an animal to research. Each child took time at home to come up with several fun facts about their chosen animal to display on their posterboards. Each child then presented their animal to the class explaining their findings. This was such a wonderful assignment to better prepare our bootcampers for what lies ahead in kindergarten. Kudos to Ms. Alyson for such an inventive project for her class & to the kids for completing their assignments!
I can not begin to explain how much fun we have had this week! Things have been nothing short of OOEY GOOEY! I have seen homemade playdough, chia slime, fluffy slime, textured slime, slime paint, and more. Take a peek at how things turned out!
Today we had the privilege of meeting a true life superhero... a police officer! Deputy Kirkpatrick visited all of our classes & went over rules for keeping everyone safe. The kids had some great questions & were no doubt in awe of his presence. Thank you so much to the Brentwood PD for taking the time to come out to our school!
Our Preschool 3 class had a great time creating Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles during art this morning! Each child picked which turtle they wanted to make & using their fine motor skills, they painted & glued their turtles to create their masterpieces. Heroes in a half-shell.... Turtle Power!
This week is our Super Heroes in Training week! We started off our week with cape making, and everyone loved it. Each class had their own spin on the activity! Our toddlers colored their capes! Take a peek at how they turned out!
