More Snow!!!

Since it is too cold to go outside, we HAD to bring the snow inside! There is no better way to get some sensory time in than with some snow! We have to seize our opportunities as they arise.

We just wanted to give a big shout out to Ms. Davey for being named the NGU Rockstar Educator of the quarter! Ms. Christina was also nominated for our location, and we could not be more proud of the two. Thank you for all you do ladies!

Healthy habits are instilled at a young age, with most habits being formed during adolescence. We feel it important to instill good habits at an early age, addressing behavioral factors that contribute to overweight and obesity from the beginning. The Gold Sneaker initiative was developed to enhance policy related to physical activity and nutrition within licensed child care facilities across Tennessee. Policies we've adopted include minimum requirements on physical activity, sedentary activities, breastfeeding, meal time, behaviors, portion sizes, and a tobacco-free facility.
