This week our Frog Street Curriculum is using Three Billy Goats Gruff to teach in many aspects. Using social skills, the class talks about what makes them feel afraid & how kindness matters. Using our cognitive skills. the class can put the goats in order & using language skills, they can talk about how it's tough to be a troll. After learning about this tale, Preschool 2 spent time making their own goats to display in the class!
This week our classes working with a toddler curriculum have been talking about the Three Little Pigs. Take a peek at how our Preschool Class walked through story time.
Today our toddlers spent some time doing Baby Doll Circle Time. All of these littles ones were very gentle and loving to their babies. As they continue to practice with their babies, they will learn more about their emotions and engaging with others.
We are very thankful for the beautiful weather! Our Toddler One class transitioned outside for circle time to switch things up!

Our Pre-K Two kids have been hard at work this school year. Today they talked about their achievements and celebrated how much they have learned. Take a peek at how many sight words these guys have cataloged throughout the school year!
Our Pre-K 2 class learned all about measurements today! They each guessed how large their own foot was, then measured with a ruler. This helped our friends with number recognition & with ruler usage. They took their shoe off & traced it, then did a footprint & measured that. Who knew learning numbers could be so fun?!

Our Preschool Three class worked really hard this morning on their own railroad tracks! The learned all about locomotives, what they carry, who can ride them & so much more. Afterwards, they created tracks using their fine motor skills laying the sticks one by one. They loved this topic!
With this month being National Children's Dental Health Month, we have sprinkled dental health themed activities. Today we had Snodgrass King Pediatrics Dentist come visit us for a demonstration and a little fun. The kids loved it and we learned a lot!
