All About Circles

This week our toddler curriculum classes are talking about circles! Today Preschool Two worked on drawing their circles! I think they did pretty well! What do you think!?

Along with learning about circles, Preschool 2 read books about this shape. They read "The Circle Book" along with "Wheels on the Bus". Afterwards, they each created their very own buttons to display in the classroom.

Shape of the Week

Preschool 2's shape of the week is a circle. During circle time, each child had the opportunity to draw their very own shape on the white board. Such a great learning & fine motor activity!

Snow-much FUN!!!

We made sure to play in the snow one more time before it all melts! Most classes bundled up and headed out for a short time to break up their morning! Others made sensory bins and dug in!

Making Patterns

This week our Preschool Three and Pre-K One class are talking about eating healthy with in their curriculum. During their one-on-ones today, they made patterns with apple cards! Take a peek at how things went!

The Gold Sneaker initiative was developed to enhance policy related to physical activity and nutrition within licensed child care facilities across Tennessee. Policies we've adopted include minimum requirements on physical activity, sedentary activities, breastfeeding, meal time, behaviors, portion sizes, and a tobacco-free facility.
