OH HEY!

We just wanted to pop in and say hi!

Learning to Measure

Our Pre-K 2 class learned all about measurements today! They each guessed how large their own foot was, then measured with a ruler. This helped our friends with number recognition & with ruler usage. They took their shoe off & traced it, then did a footprint & measured that. Who knew learning numbers could be so fun?!

Choo-Choo!

Our Preschool Three class worked really hard this morning on their own railroad tracks! The learned all about locomotives, what they carry, who can ride them & so much more. Afterwards, they created tracks using their fine motor skills laying the sticks one by one. They loved this topic!

Pre-K Sight Word Practice

Each week Ms. Alyson's Pre-K 2 class learns 4 new sight words. They are on their way to knowing over 75+ words by graduation! Here's a look at how day 1 goes of introducing new words. First they are read a book with all 4 words. Then they do activities that help them spell them out. Lots of smarty pants in this class!

Shape of the Week: Squares!

We kicked off the week talking all about our shape of the week- squares! Our toddlers seemed to enjoy the curriculum book that they read about squares & were eager to yell "square!" for quite some time. :)
After learning about this new shape, they put their fine motor skills to work by gluing several squares of all colors & sizes to their page. Super cute & fun project to all!

It is only right that we enough the snow for as long as we can. While the sensory bin a made last week was fun, nothing beats the real thing.
